Bull and Bones has a spacious bar and is a good place to watch sporting events and play pool. A couple of snacks that I especially like are the smoked chicken wings and the quesadillas. The wings are a good value for the money and the most excellent I have tasted. They are big and meaty and in my opinion the best in town. They leave others, including Wild Wings in the dust. The quesadillas are also delicious and a good value. You can have them with cheese only, but I find those with added chicken and pork especially good! The service is decent. Sometimes they seem a bit understaffed. Their home crafted beers are tasty and at happy hour are a steal!

Have eaten here twice now at the bar. Service and atmosphere were both good. Enjoyed their wings and more so the Brisket sandwich. That was awesome!

I really like our sponsor. We stopped in here for dinner one evening and we had a good meal. I got the Ruben and fries and it was a solid four stars. Service was good atmosphere was cool that we had a good time.

Bull and bones brewhouse is an American eatery with a sports bar theme located in Blacksburg Virginia. My buddy and I was on a small road trip through North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia when we decided to take a stop in Blacksburg. It was dinner time and this place had a cool sounding name so we made the leap. Interior is very spacious and large and has as mentioned above a sports bar type theme but with a bit more upscale surrounding. Our service here was good. Better than the workers themselves expected. The waiter told us immeditly upfront that "we are short staff so I apologize in advance for any long waits". Which I always appreciate up front honesty. However they was extremely quick (less than 10 min) and he kept our cups filled. Food wise I personally went with a chicken quesadilla which is always my safe and comfort meal at American sports bar type places. It was a solid dish and larger than some other chicken qiesdualla apps a place will give you. Salsa had a unique taste (house made maybe?) but it was pretty good. My buddy is a big Reuben sandwich guy so that is what he got. He seemed overall satisfied with his choice. Overall solid place with a cool name and and nice atmosphere. Was a perfect place to unwind after a long day of traveling and exploring to grab a quick bite of comfort food and relax.
